Go-to-market services for boiler brands and distributors

A boiler that sells well in its home market can still stall in Canada. Usually the product is fine. The trouble is that the brand opened in too many provinces at once, signed a distributor who covers one region well and the rest poorly, or reached Quebec with English-only manuals and a dealer kit nobody could use. BoilerConsultants.ca exists to get those decisions made in the right order, in writing, before the money and the inventory are committed.

We work with manufacturers, brand owners, importers and wholesale distributors of residential and commercial boilers. Our job is commercial: which provinces and buyer groups come first, which channel carries the line, what each provincial authority means for the calendar, and how the contractors who install your product get marketing support worth having. We are a marketing and business consulting service. We are not a heating contractor, we do not install or service anything, and we do not give certification, engineering or legal advice.

Who we help

We work best with companies that already know their product and need clarity on the Canadian route to the installer.

  • Manufacturers and brand owners planning a first Canadian launch, or expanding from one or two provinces to a national footprint.
  • Importers bringing a European or Asian boiler range into Canada who need to pick the right wholesale partners.
  • Wholesale distributors adding a boiler line and wanting a plan to get contractors trained, listed and buying.
  • Sales and marketing leaders inside an established brand who need an outside view of why one region outsells another.

If you are a contractor deciding how to grow your own boiler business, that is a different question. BoilerConsultant.ca covers strategy for owners, and the two work well together once your dealers need help.

What the work covers

Every engagement starts from the same five questions, and each has its own service page.

  1. Launch sequencing. Which provinces, product families and buyer segments open first, and the gates each one has to pass.
  2. Channel strategy. Wholesale, manufacturer's reps, direct-to-contractor programs, or a mix, judged against your margins and service model.
  3. Regulatory mapping. Which provincial authority oversees boilers and pressure equipment in each market, with links to the official pages, so nothing on the calendar surprises you.
  4. Quebec French readiness. The French product documents, website pages and dealer materials a Quebec launch needs.
  5. Dealer marketing support. Locator listings, co-branded pages, lead routing and content that make your installing contractors want to stay with your line.

The services overview explains how to pick a starting point if budget allows only one.

Why the order matters in Canada

Canada is ten provincial markets and three territorial ones that happen to share a currency. Federal energy-efficiency rules apply when regulated products are imported or shipped between provinces for sale or lease, according to Natural Resources Canada's guide to the Energy Efficiency Regulations, and NRCan notes that some provinces add their own rules on top. Pressure equipment is overseen province by province. Heating fuel shares, utility rebates and contractor habits vary just as widely.

A sensible sequence usually looks like this:

  • Open where your channel partner is strongest, not where the population is largest.
  • Hold back provinces whose paperwork or language work is not finished, rather than launching with gaps that dealers will notice.
  • Add product families in steps, so training and stock follow demand instead of chasing it.

Our areas overview sets out what changes from British Columbia to the territories.

Proof from the installer side

We have not published a brand-launch case study, and we will not dress one up. What we can show is what happens at the end of your channel, where homeowners and building managers choose an installer. That is the market your dealers live in, and it is the work Ali Sedighi and the team have done for more than 150 live HVAC websites.

  • A homeowner shopping for a combi unit is the end buyer your dealers chase, and CombiBoiler.ca turned that search into 300+ monthly leads, 300% ROI and 500+ page-1 rankings on combi-boiler terms.
  • A dealer locator or model catalogue is a programmatic site at heart, which is why BoilerPart.ca, with 2,000+ programmatic pages behind 180% organic traffic growth, is the closest match to brand work in our portfolio.
  • The installer-level brand we built as a gas-boiler division for CANRO Heat, GasBoilers.ca, now covers 26+ BC communities and holds 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews, the kind of dealer reputation a manufacturer wants attached to its name.

The results page explains which parts of that work transfer to a brand or distributor and which do not.

How we work, and what we will not do

We meet by video call or in person, work by phone, text and email, and everything important ends up in writing. You get a named assumption list, a launch calendar and a dealer plan you can hand to your own team.

What we stay out of is just as important:

  • No product certification, code interpretation or engineering opinions.
  • No legal opinions on contracts, language law or regulation; we point you to the official source and to qualified advisors.
  • No promise of sales volume, dealer counts or rankings. Plans are measured monthly so you can see early whether they are working.

BoilerConsultants.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. Read more about the company, see pricing, or call, text or email to describe your line.

How it works

  1. Tell us about the line and the plan

Which boiler families you sell, where they already sell, how you go to market today and what your Canadian target looks like. A spreadsheet or a slide deck is plenty.

  2. Get a written launch and channel map

We return a province order, a channel recommendation, the regulators and documents to account for, and a dealer marketing plan, with every assumption marked so you can test it.

  3. Decide with a person, not a portal

Questions get answered by the person who wrote the plan. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions

What is BoilerConsultants.ca?

BoilerConsultants.ca is a Canadian go-to-market consulting service for boiler manufacturers, brand owners and distributors. It belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, is run from Vancouver, British Columbia, and is led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.

Do you install, sell or service boilers?

No. We are a marketing and business consulting service, not a heating contractor and not a distributor. We never install, repair, inspect or stock equipment; we help the companies that make and distribute it reach the contractors who do.

Can you tell us whether our boiler is approved for sale in a province?

No. Product certification, design registration and code questions belong with your certification body, the provincial safety authority and your own qualified advisors. We map which authority to ask and build that step into the launch calendar.

We already have a Canadian distributor. Is this still useful?

Often more so. Many brands with one distributor find that coverage stops at a provincial border or a single product family. We look at where your sell-through actually happens and where the gaps are before recommending any change.

How is pricing set for a go-to-market engagement?

Our published monthly marketing plans start at $2,998 per month plus GST/HST. Strategy-only go-to-market work depends on how many provinces and product families are involved, so it is scoped and quoted in writing before anything starts.

How quickly do you respond?

We usually reply within one business day. Our hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We meet by video call or in person, and also work by phone, text and email to keep a plan moving.
